Ms. Pegah Firoozi, Director
The best and most effective way to make a difference in the world is through children. I am a mother of two whom have inspired me to get in the field that I have always had passion for. I have a bachelor of science in Business Administration and Business Information Systems, 10 years of experience in childcare and 13 years in management. My mission is to create a very loving, peaceful, healthy and educationally fun environment for children of all different ages and backgrounds. I would like to help parents, grow as well as the children.
The first few years of a child's life are the most important years, developmentally. I believe that all the rights and wrongs we experience throughout our adulthood are somehow linked to our experiences during the first few years of our lives. What is special about Unique Academy is that all of us, teachers and staff, share the same mission. I look forward to the relationship with every single parent and child that walks through Unique Academy.

Ms. Pilar Jones (Coach PJ), Physical Education & Spanish Teacher
Ms. Pilar has graduated, Magna Cum Laude, in Child psychology from Los Leones Institute, Santiago, Chili. She comes to us with experience working with preschool ages since 2007, in Physical education and Spanish. Physical education is important in the early years. Habits are formed early in life. Early childhood is the best period for the acquisition of fundamental movement skills. Contrary to common belief, motor skills are not acquired and refined without instruction and practice.
Language plays a vital role in our day-to-day lives. It only makes sense that the more you know the better off you are. Bilingualism is a huge advantage in today’s society, where communication is central. The easiest way for anyone to learn a second language is as a child. If you nurture your child's abilities early enough, he or she can develop the skill of learning any language just as easily as mother tongue.
